With a range of models available on Indian roads, Jaguar has been making mass expansion plans with a few models parked elegantly in its garage. Jaguar XK is one of the models which have been highly anticipated ever since Indian Jaguar enthusiasts got to know that the car had been marked for their country. Jaguar XK covers all aspects of a sports car and has a lot of power waiting to be unleashed beneath the hood. Jaguar XK has emerged with athletic looks with immense amount of visual energy and interior functionality. The leather steering wheel with integrated controls for in-car entertainment, cruise control and adaptive cruise control make everything accessible. Exterior

Jaguar has done us all a service by giving a cutting-edge design to the XK. This supercar is available both in Coupe version as well as Convertible. The car has been designed in such a manner so that air cannot hinder the motion of the car in any manner. Aluminium serves as the prime collaborating factor as it eases down the overall weight of the car and adding to that, also helps the car with aerodynamics. There are two separate types of lightings that have been installed. The headlights feature bi-Xenon light effect and additionally day-time running LED lights attached to them. Engine and Gearbox

There are basically two variants of Jaguar XK which are available in the Indian market one of which is the Coupe Version whereas the other one is the Convertible version. Both of these mean machines have the same powerful and commanding engine beneath their hoods and give the same performance. Jaguar XK boasts of a 5.0L V8 Supercharged engine which runs on petrol and has an audacity to give out a peak power of 512 PS at 6000-6500 rpm. Additionally, it can give out a peak torque of 625 Nm at 2500-5500 rpm. The engine gives out a net displacement of 5000cc and has been coupled with automatic six-speed transmission which swiftly makes gear shifts. In case if the driver prefers manual transmission over automatic one, then he can alternately operate the gear through paddles given on the back side of the steering wheel.

Jaguar XK is available in two variants: XKR Coupe and XKR Convertible.

Superior performance, grand looks, remarkable aerodynamics, multi-colour variants and urbane interiors make this car class-apart. The only con regarding Jaguar XK is its exorbitant price.
