Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Automatic

About
The Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Automatic is a mid-size sedan that has been a staple in the Indian market for several years. The suspension has been tuned for comfort, providing a smooth ride even on rough Indian roads. The car also features projector headlamps, day-time running LEDs, and a well-appointed interior with a 9-inch music system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Automatic is a well-rounded sedan that offers a blend of comfort, performance, and features. The automatic transmission, particularly the 4-speed automatic in the older models or the more recent CVT, provides smooth and effortless power delivery, making it ideal for city driving and highway cruising. However, the CVT can exhibit the typical rubber band effect when pushed hard. The ride quality has been significantly improved, offering a more supple and comfortable ride. The addition of advanced safety features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) in the newer models is a significant plus. While the ground clearance is adequate but not exceptional by Indian standards, the overall package makes the Verna a compelling choice for those seeking a reliable and feature-rich sedan.
Price
The pricing for the Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Automatic in India has varied over the years, but during its peak, the ex-showroom price ranged from approximately 9.5 lakh to 12.2 lakh, depending on the location and the specific model year. On-road prices would typically be around 11 lakh to 15 lakh, including taxes, registration, and other costs. For a used 2014 model, prices can range from 3 lakh to 3.5 lakh, depending on the condition of the vehicle. The value proposition of the Verna lies in its balance of features, performance, and comfort, making it a good investment for those looking for a mid-size sedan.
Mileage
Thursday, 21 November 2024 01:16 PM The mileage of the Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Automatic is respectable, though it varies based on the engine and transmission. For the petrol automatic, you can expect around 10-12 kmpl in city conditions and up to 15 kmpl on highways. The diesel variants, which were once popular for their fuel efficiency, offered around 14-17 kmpl in city driving and up to 20 kmpl on highways. However, with the diesel options no longer available, the petrol automatic remains a viable choice with decent fuel efficiency.

Verna 1.6 Sx Diesel EPS system not durable

A K Gupta | 2 years ago
helpful 4

I have purchased Verna 1.6 Sx Diesel car in 10/2013. The car has run only 34300 km and it’s EPS system fails. I send concern to Hyundai customer care but their response is very negative. We have another vehicle with EPS which run more than lack km but no problem occurs in EPS. Finally, I have to replace on payment. But now I am in impression to switch to other Car make.

Best Features: Spacious and big boot space.

Pros: Car is good but after warranty it’s not reliable

Cons: EPS system of car is not up to mark.I have to replace my car EPS in 34500 km. No support from Hyundai customer care. Response from company is not appreciable.
