The Hyundai i20 Active has been discontinued in the Indian market, with the last recorded price being Rs. 7.13 Lakh. This move is part of Hyundais strategy to focus on other models. I think this is a significant loss for those who liked the crossover styling of the i20 Active.

The Hyundai i20 Active was priced between Rs. 6.99 lakh and Rs. 10.01 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) in its last iteration. It was available in three variants: S, SX, and SX (dual-tone), with both petrol and diesel engine options. I think the pricing was competitive, but the lack of automatic transmission was a drawback.

The i20 Active boasted a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi Diesel engine that produced 90PS and 220Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine was praised for its performance and driveability. I believe this diesel engine was one of the strongest points of the i20 Active.
