Bugatti Chiron is an ultimate sports car, it is much faster and powerful than the Veyron. The car shares many styling cues with the Veyron, although it does feature a lot of subtle updates. The power figures of the Chiron are also quite impressive, it is equipped with re-developed quad turbo 8.0 liter W16 (16 cylinder) engine displacing around 7993cc and churning out a power of 1500 PS and a torque of 1600 NM starting at 2000 rpm. It generates an extra 300 horses of power over the Veyron. The new Bugatti's top speed is restricted to 420 km/h.

On the styling front, the car looks a lot like the previous Bugatti, the exteriors share the similar design language with the Veyron while the interiors have been changed a lot. In terms of dimensions, the car is 3.2 inches longer , 1.6 inches wider and 0.3 inches taller than the Veyron. Priced at €2.4 million, the Bugatti Chiron is a breathtaking supercar. Only 500 units of the car will be produced.

Exterior

The Bugatti Chiron, at the first glance, resonates Veyron from every angle. The Chiron is designed along the lines of the Veyron, but does feature several subtle changes.

At the first glance the upgrade might not look very consequential, the craftsmen at Bugatti rolled out a few improvements to transform the Veyron into the Chiron. Clearly a Bugatti because of its fanciful horseshoe grille, the Chiron has a much sleeker grille, four-piece LED headlamps which also function are air inputs, directing the airflow towards the front brakes. The front hood no more reaches out into the car's bumper and now has a much more precise V shape that gives the car's front nose a meaner, more aggressive appearance. The air intakes on the lower section are quite slimmer as compared to the Veyron. The smock as improved effectively for better aerodynamics. The car looks much wider than the Veyron, and much more dominating!

If you look at Chiron from the side, you will notice it has changed significantly from the Veyron. The amazing C shape, which dominates the side profile of the car looks awe-inspiring! The C-shape also functions to direct air towards the air intakes on the side, which further direct it to the car's engine at the rear. The car gets 20-inch 285/30 front & 21-inch 355/25 rear bespoke Michelin tires. The car's wheels have unique pattern, and the rubbers are flatter and stickier than its predecessor.

From the rear view; the fundamental highlight is certainly the tail lamp strip which comprises of 82 distinct LED lights. Besides, the Bugatti Chiron has an central fin at the car's rear aids in aerodynamics and improves the car's braking capabilities. Besides, the car features a new pair of exhaust pipes, and an aesthetic back diffuser. There's also a lattice grille panel at the back of tail lamps that works to keep the motor temperature cool. The car's double tone color scheme looks spectacular, however Bugatti is also working on a single tone version.

Interior

The Chiron's interiors are just as breathtaking as its exteriors. The car's cabin is made of luxury materials. Carbon fiber, aluminum and premium leather can be seen on the Bugatti's cabin. The car's instrument cluster has been completely revised, its looks and feels ultra modern. In the middle is a big speedometer, which goes from zero to 500 kmph, surrounding the speedometer are two TFT screens. As you speed the car up, the information on the display clears up so you can keep your focus on the road. These screens display important information such as the GPS maps.

The car's steer wheel also looks quite premium, it is finished in double tone color scheme with a completely flat bottom, which gives a unique feel to the steer wheel. There's also a blue colored star button on the steering. The Bugatti's interiors has drastically changed. While the exterior shares a lot with the Veyron, the interior features significant upgrades. The car has high quality sporty looking seats, and the car gets an extra 12mm on headlamp due to its slightly improved dimensions.

Dimensions and Weight

Dimensionally, the Bugatti Chiron is 4544mm in length, 2038mm in width and a has a height of 1212mm. It stretches across a wheelbase of 2710mm, and has a kerb weight of 1995 kilos. The car is similar to weight to the Veyron, but is slightly longer, wider and taller (3.2 inches, 1.6 inches and 0.3 inches respectively).

Engine and Performance

The Bugatti Chiron is a very powerful performer. The car is faster and stronger than its predecessor, the Veyron. The Chiron is powered by revised 8.0 liter W16 (16 cylinder) engine equipped with 4 turbocharges capable of displacing over 7993cc and churning out a maximum power of 1500 PS (1479 BHP) @ 6700 rpm and a peak torque of 1600 NM @ 2000-6000 rpm. The car produces a might 300 bhp more than its predecessor, Veyron. The car's engine is mated to a 7-Speed, dual clutch automatic gearbox.

The car is a top performer, it can sprint from zero to go in a mere 2.5 seconds, zero to 200 KMPH in 6.5 seconds and zero to 300 KMPH in 13.6 seconds. The car has a top speed of 420 KMPH.

The car's braking set up is very efficient. The front brakes are carbon ceramic disc brakes made from carbon silicon carbide equipped with 8 titanium piston calipers in the front, while the rear brakes are the same carbon ceramic disc brakes made from carbon silicon carbide but are equipped with 6 pistons. The car's suspension system is “Adaptive Chassis”, with various driving modes such as the Lift, Auto etc.

Price and Rivals

The Bugatti Chiron is priced at €2.4 million (with no extras). Only 500 units of this supercar will be produced.
