Heated front seats are now standard, and remote start has been added to some option packages. The X4 continues to offer powerful engine options, including the turbocharged inline 6 in the M40i and the high-performance X4 M. I think these minor updates will keep the X4 competitive in the luxury SUV market.

The X4 will coexist with the new X3, and BMW is planning to introduce electric SUVs, including a potential iX4, after 2026. I believe this marks the end of an era for the X4, but its exciting to see what BMW has in store for its electric lineup.

The X4 xDrive30i starts at $55,995, while the M40i begins at $67,395. The X4 M offers high-performance capabilities with a sport-tuned adaptive suspension and unique interior trim. I believe the lack of major updates doesnt detract from the X4s appeal, given its strong existing features.
