Yamaha Motor India took the decision of marginally increasing the prices of the MT 15 V2 in October 2022. The increment of Rs 500 is much less than the previous one of Rs 1,500 in August. As for the prospective buyers, the MT 15 V2 is now available in four different colour variants, each with a different price tag. The ex-showroom prices of the MT 15 V2 in different colours are as follows: Metallic Black - Rs 1,63,900, Ice Fluo, Cyan Storm, and Racing Blue - Rs 1,64,900, and MotoGP edition - Rs 1,65,900.

In the Indian market, the Yamaha MT-15 V2 is available in eight different colors, with the Racing Blue being one of the most popular options. The bike is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder engine producing 18.4 PS and 14.1 Nm of torque, linked to a six-speed gearbox. I believe the variety of color options and the robust engine make it a strong contender in its segment.

Yamaha has priced the MT-15 V2 Racing Blue Deluxe variant at Rs. 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it one of the top models in the lineup. This variant comes with features like a 155cc liquid-cooled engine, dual-channel ABS, and a fully digital console with smartphone connectivity. I believe the Deluxe variant offers great value for its price, especially with the added aesthetic appeal of the Racing Blue color.

The Yamaha MT-15 V2 Deluxe, including the Racing Blue color, boasts a range of advanced features such as traction control, LED illumination, and a Y-Connect app for smartphone integration. The bike also has a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters and returns a certified mileage of 56.87 kmpl. I think these features make it a compelling choice for riders seeking both performance and convenience.

The Yamaha MT-15 V2 has received new paint schemes for the 2024 model, including the Racing Blue color, which is now available in all variants. This update also includes other colors like Matt Black and Metallic Gray, though the Indian market has additional options such as Cyan Storm and Ice Fluo-Vermillion. The bikes mechanical and design aspects remain unchanged. I think the new colors will definitely attract more buyers looking for a stylish naked bike.
