Hi, I bought the Silver Gixxer SF250, Nov 2019. Since then its 4000 KM done. 3 hrs continuous ride in smooth manner and long ride of 200 km in hot weather. Supr Look Head Turner, Reliability and built Quality. Refined Engine. Everything super Feel about bike esp. SF250

Am from Thrissur, Kerala... I bought my gixxer SF in 2016 from classic omega dealership... It was looking amazing in a glass sparkle black colour... I never rode a Suzuki in my whole life this was the first I only had ridden few motorcycles Yamaha fz16, pulsar 220f for a long period and both the fz and 220 performed really well.. I asked Suzuki before booking the gixxer SF for a test ride but, they always says the same reason we don't have any test bikes.. Then how will customers able to know how it feels to ride.. My home was just 20kms away from the dealership and I noticed after riding my new gixxer SF for few kilometres that the gear shifts are very hard compared to fz and sometimes it hard to shift from 2nd to 1st gear in stop and go traffic.. I didn't bother it much because it was new... And after that, I took it for a 320kms after 1st service hill station ride and noticed that the engine was not pulling up hill and I was not able to overtake the car in Infront of me whenever I was getting a chance to overtake.. Later I shared my problems with service guys and they said it must be the problem with carburettor and they cleaned the carburettor and fuel tank even then there was only a slight difference in performance.. Whenever I try to push it hard (after break-in period) the motorcycle was showing misfiring when I try to touch the 3 digit no. in the speedometer I was totally broke by my bike’s performance it was not the bike which I wanted.. Never in my life fz16 or 200 given me such kind problems.. I always check the oil level of the motorcycle before I go for the ride whether it's fz or pulsar 220 I check it and both of them never needed top up until next oil change.. But, Gixxer after riding for 500kms after the 3rd service I noticed the oil level going down slowly after every ride.. Then I saw the oil leak from the magnetic coil area and ran to the service centre and asked them to check because the bike was under warranty a

I will never try to buy this bike, my bike suspension has damaged after 6th month when I used, but showroom dealer has nothing to give any responsibility... I hate Suzuki

I bought my gixxy on aug 15 2015.Good mileage and good pickup..getting 53kmpl at 90-100 kmphr speed great to c this figure @160cc bike..worthy to buy.

I bought it in March of last year. Since I bought it I'm enjoying the bike mileage I'm getting above 50kmpl in city as well as on highway. Overall its best in class. But I'm suffering by an issue since I bought it. I found gear shifting is too much hard since I bought it. Several times I complained about that to local Suzuki service station but no use problem is still there.if Suzuki will look after this issue I'm very much thankful.

Owned SF for 1 year now, 10k km passed, getting good mileage and overall performance is also good. Gave me quite a bit of headache, issues keep om coming. Clunky gearbox. Overall good for city and highway rides

Best in class with great mileage, handling, sound, performance, it has got all which every biker love to have. Bike feel much more powerful when revved hard, sounds like its higher capacity bike ....mileage is good handling is best ease to handle traffic best riding in city condition with its great mid range and low range performance... Tyre are wide and provides a superior grip...best bike in it class..and truly justify its name GXR or Gixxer

I am using Gixxer SF for 8 months and I crossed 10,000kms. Everything is fine but front disc brake had problem in 6,500 kms, front wheel becomes tight due to friction in disc brake, I have checked for oil and other basic things but still the problem is there. In service centre they said disc plate has bent and they said they will replace it within 25 days. I have waited for more than 3 months in that three months I crossed 10,000kms. After that I met with an argument with them. They changed the disc plate in front of me but after that still that problem not solved. They told me that alloy wheel has bent, disc plates are fine. I don't know exactly where is the problem (disc or alloy). After that I checked new bike in the showroom, I shocked to see that new bikes also having this problem. After that I checked my friends bikes, their bikes also having this problem. It's a manufacturing defect. Suzuki should take care of this.

I was one of the first guys who purchased Gixxer from Chandigarh. Driven more than 3000 kms now, I feel it’s a light bike but if only its weight was 3 kgs lesser it would have been mind-blowing. Gear change is hard sometimes unlike Yamaha bikes whose gear shifting is butter smooth, Gixxer gears have to be pressed harder in order to change and chain is constant annoyance. It becomes loose pretty soon. On mileage front it’s great. 55kmpl is what I get. There is plenty of fuel even when the meter shows only two clicks. When on reserve the bike can go up to nearly 80kms. I don’t know I still have love for less powerful but butter smooth SZ-R. Yamaha SZ-R was exactly what I was looking for.

Best Features: Sound of engine. exhaust and chrome used. speedometer.

Pros: Good pickup till 85 kmph. Very fast. Mileage is 55 kmpl. Checked on various occasions.

Cons: Hard gears, chain gets loose very often

I got new Suzuki Gixxer 155 on 1/5/2015. The bike is really awesome. Good looks, comfortable, good suspension and mileage.

Fist of all the certified mileage (ARAI) of this bike is 63.5 kmpl . I'm using this bike for 2 months and I would like to share my experience with you. You all know the Gixxer is one of the most awarded bike in 2015 so SF is also pretty in all aspects .. Performance is very good also ride quality and its mileage , many of the site states that it got only 40-48 kmpl .. But its absolutely wrong, I got an average of 53 kmpl .

The bike caught my attention when I first saw in the showrooms. It has a sporty look and distinguishes with rest of the bikes in the price range. New models from Yamaha and Bajaj were priced higher than this which worked in favor of Gixxer. The balance of bike on road and pick up is great.

Cons: Am almost satisfied with the bike. the few small things that I didn't like much are: 1. its rear wheel skids sometime 2. Horn is somewhat girly 3. The head light should be stronger
