Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has issued a recall for the H’ness CB350, along with other models, due to a defect in the wheel speed sensor. This issue, caused by an improper molding process, can lead to water seeping into the sensor, affecting the speedometer, traction control, and ABS systems. In severe cases, it could compromise the braking system. The affected bikes were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024. I believe this recall is a proactive step to ensure rider safety.

In addition to the wheel speed sensor issue, specific units of the H’ness CB350 manufactured between June and July 2024 are being recalled for a potential camshaft defect. This defect, resulting from an improper manufacturing process, could impact the bike’s performance. Honda will replace the affected parts free of charge at its BigWing dealerships. I think its reassuring to see Honda addressing these issues promptly.

The recall affects several Honda models, including the H’ness CB350, CB350RS, CB300R, and CB300F, all of which were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024. The primary concern is the wheel speed sensor defect, which could lead to inaccurate speedometer readings and issues with traction control and ABS. I think its crucial for owners to get their bikes inspected as soon as possible to avoid any potential risks.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is actively reaching out to customers whose motorcycles may have been affected by the wheel speed sensor or camshaft issues. Customers will be notified via call, SMS, or email and can also check the status of their bike on the Honda BigWing website using their VIN number. I believe this proactive communication is a positive step in maintaining customer satisfaction.
