Hi all, Am using A-star from last 2.5 years, its completly a value of money car. Excellent n luxry interiors,good AC, nice power steering, beautiful looks. I am using it mainly on highway n I keep very nice control on road,its giving 21 KMPL milage. If you want to buy a beautiful Family car then jst go to buy A-Star....

We have just bought the Vxi variant.....n izz amazing. if compared with the same segment like..santro xing, Beat n ford figo then is actually better in monetary as well as comfort.

I have been using Maruti A-Star for the last one year. In highways I always get mileage more than 22. In city, it varies based on the traffic but an average mileage is 15. Like everybody says boot space is one of the disappointing thing. Power also needs to be revised as the same is very much lagging. But overall, it is very much satisfatctory. If you are looking for a cute economical car, A-star is the best choice.

Hi all..hear from the 'horse's mouth'. Am using A-Star vx for nearly 2 years. Imagine driving in a city like Bangalore..good pick-up, comfortable front seat,easy to negotiate in small roads, excellent mileage (gives me 20+ on High way and 16+ in city. Drawbacks.. AC not good, rear seat comfort and boot space inadequate. Bit slow while overtaking on Highway. But steady at over 100 kms. Is it safe on a wet road, I do not know. If you are a city driver..pl. go for it.

I would not suggest any one to buy A Star, absolutely bad car. Mileage is never above 13KMPL in city and 15 on highway... NEVER BUY A-STAR

I recently bought a new a star lxi. before i was very much wurried abt the performance of the car as i came to know that 1 lac cars had been called back due to some technical defect.but now i found that it is a wonderful car having sporty look.very good pickup and best in mileage.but less boot space.

Maruti A Star is now made available in both manual and automatic. A-Star A/T is cheaper than i10 A/T. Also, A Star will return a mileage of 17 kmpl inspite of automatic transmission. That is A Star's speciality.

Maruti A Star is a superb city drivable car and a safe highway cruiser too because it has airbags and ABS. The interiors have lots of features and can even swallow 6 foot tall drivers. The exteriors are eye-catchy, especially the blue A Star. Also Maruti's service back up is satisfying millions of customers. A star is giving 18 kmpl on an average to me. For all who are looking for small car, go for A Star!

Price is a de-merit. I am 5'10" and I feel this car will be  cramped for me. I think the Spark is a better option.

Maruti A-Star is a good stylish car with a sporty look, even has good milage, when i had the test ride - i was feeling not to get down from the car - wanted to keep on driving. keep going........!!

MARUTI A STAR IS A VERY GOOD CAR.I HAVE GONE FOR EXCHANGE THIS CAR WITH MY MARUTI CAR HOWEVER OBSERVED THAT THE SPACE BETWEEN STEERING & SEAT IS LESS & NOT COMFORTABLE & NOT TECHINCALLY SUITABLE NEEDS MODIFICATION & HEIGHT ALSO NEEDS TO BE CORRECETED TO BE SOME EXTENDT CURVE i.e  TO BE INCREASED SOME EXTENT TO GIVE IT MORE BEAUTINESS & COMFORT TO THE PEOPLE. It's cute, chubby and stylish! The interiors come equipped with good quality plastics, the A-star boasts of the best fit and finish in a Maruti-Suzuki car and the 2-tone grey interior looks good. A big kudos to the A-star design team for understanding the need  of decent front legroom space that works even for 6-footers. The engine specifications- all aluminium 12-valve KB series DOHC engine with 998 cc, 67 hp@6000 rpm and 90nm torque at 3500 rpm !! Wow!As the speed builds up, the engine becomes smoother and smoother...About the gearbox, with smooth shifting short throw gearbox is sweet to engage and the ratios are even. The car provides an amazing ride while sitting on 155/80 R13 tubeless tyres, front passengers enjoy comfort unheard of...EPS makes its handling superb! There is no doubt in my mind that it will sell in large numbers due to its all round combination of looks and best in class mileage (ARAI certified 19.57 kpl) and will be a hit with the young college going students, bachelors and newly married couples.

I just test drove the A-star. And I am giving it a Hi-5 or should I say a 5 star rating. The car combines effortless performance with great looks and value for money. Yup! I would say, it's definitely worth the buy.

No doubt its superb to stare at, can be easily called as the Greek god of automobile's world.. numerous facility to compete with Chevrolet spark santro and i10..But as the rumors speeded like a wild fire that its around 2.90-4 lacks and is mainly targeted to the middle-class people but its just the fake and deceiving way to attract the public and to make them a fool out of it...people waited and wasted their valuable time searching reading for this long awaited grand desired car, but ultimately people is turning their backs when getting to know the price tag of it...maybe best deal for the higher model 1 but not at all worthy of 3.47k for the 1st model, its better that people should go for Chevrolet spark which has renovated its 1st model's price unto great extend and that also with 3yrs warranty, more than 14kms per liters(not at all bad) and its really a good small and a trendy smart car with a sport look...price of the 1st model of a-star just wont attack many buyers.. wearas i know few govt employees who too were genuinely targeting this car waiting for its launch and thinking its competitive spirit and the taking the price value as its ideal deal and concern. maruti should take this price of the 1st model in concern otherwise it wont work out. People need something, which is added with the insurance and tax together not just the value of the car, which is beyond the reach of all. Long awaited of the people doesn’t mean become crazy for it and jumping in the well blindfolded that also in the time of inflation and nano, i20 and spark making its huge way out for 1year. I spoke out on behalf of all those who targeted to buy astar but ultimately changing their mind and also few government employees and of course as I too changed my decision from buying this. Hi All, Yesterday, I had been to the dealer to have a look at A star.. The Car is Beuty..however when i sat inside, I came to know at it lacks space..I am 5'11 and there is no way that i can sit at the rear side if a person of the same height is driving...It was very crampy....Also there is no Luggage space..I doubt if you can keep even one suitcase properly.. I think that is ment only for carry bags. Anyways that was for those who are above 5'10...for small heighted people it would be a beauty and amazing car and it looks amazing.......

Ya..!! she has got a very fine cutting edges..good looking car,the front jaw is some what like Audi Cars (Down Jaw).. Car must have to be equipped with safety features atlest with Airbags, ABS with EBD. How could a 1000 CC car could be of 37 BHP..?? Hopefully, we are waiting for the customer's reviews on the all new Maruti Concept A-Star after its launch..lets wait !
