Aprilia RS4 125
General information and overview
The Aprilia RS4 125 is a successor to the legendary Aprilia RS 125 and was later replaced by the same model in 2017. This bike boasts a four-stroke engine, which is more reliable and less maintenance-intensive compared to the two-stroke engine of its predecessor. It features radial brakes, a braced swing arm, and braided hoses, all of which contribute to its excellent handling and braking performance. The bike is surprisingly roomy and feels less sporty than the old RS 125, which is a plus for comfort. With its quickshifter option and super sticky Pirelli tires, the RS4 125 offers a riding experience that is hard to match in its class. Its design, inspired by MotoGP, makes it one of the best-looking 125cc bikes on the market. Overall, its a great choice for anyone looking for a fun, reliable, and stylish ride.
Expert opinion and recommendation
The Aprilia RS4 125 is a standout in the 125cc sports bike segment, especially for those who value both performance and style. Despite its modest 15 horsepower output, this bike is incredibly fun to ride, thanks to its four-stroke engine that thrives on high revs. The handling is exceptional, making it a joy to flick from one turn to the next, and the brakes are top-notch. The bikes design is unmistakably Aprilia, with a look that is both sleek and aggressive. While it may not be the cheapest option, its reliability, build quality, and overall riding experience make it a solid choice for both new and experienced riders.

Pricing details and changes
In India, the Aprilia RS4 125, although not currently in production, would have been priced competitively within its segment if it were available. Historically, similar models from Aprilia have been priced around 1.5 lakh to 2 lakh ex-showroom. On-road prices would typically include additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, pushing the total to around 1.8 lakh to 2.5 lakh. While this may seem steep for a 125cc bike, the RS4 125s superior build quality, handling, and aesthetic appeal justify the cost. For those considering a used purchase, prices can vary but generally remain competitive with other high-quality 125cc sports bikes.
Fuel efficiency information
When it comes to mileage, the Aprilia RS4 125 is relatively efficient, given its sporty nature. You can expect an average fuel economy of around 40-50 kml, depending on riding conditions and style. This makes it a reasonable choice for daily commuting or weekend rides, especially considering its performance-oriented design. The running costs are manageable, making it a viable option for those who want a fun yet economical ride.

Expert Verdict
Professional reviews and expert opinions on Aprilia RS4 125
The Aprilia RS4 125 can be simple called the true winner out of all the 125 cc race bikes available out there. The simple reason making it the best out of all is its smooth power delivery and reliable performance figures. The bike looks much more than what it really has below the fairing as its sharp design and powerful attitude has no substitute.
The Aprilia RS4 125 can be simply called the true winner out of all the 125 cc race bikes available out there. The simple reason making it the best out of all is its smooth power delivery and reliable performance figures. The bike looks much more than what it really has below the fairing as its sharp design and powerful attitude has no substitute. The RS4 125 comes with a futuristic design, making it much more attractive than all the others in the segment. The looks can fool anyone to believe that the bike is a 600 cc machine with an ultra-light frame and high-performance output. The reality is far away from that, but in its segment, it still rocks the charts.
Aprilia equips the little machine with a 124.2 cc, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine which in turn produces 14.8 BHP and 10.9 NM of torque. The bike needs to be kept above 8000 rpm on the race time as going below creates some power delivery lag. The best a 125 cc can give is truly achieved from this little monster.
The bike gets a 300mm stainless steel disc with radial 4 piston caliper for the front and a smaller sized 218mm stainless steel disc with a single 30mm piston for the rear. The front gets a 41 mm up-side down forks whereas the rear gets a hydraulic mono-shock absorber. Front tyre size is 110/80-R17 whereas the rear gets a 130/70-R17. The whole setup makes it race ready and it conquers everything in its way. The Aprilia RS4 125 comes in White with Grey and Black with Orange shade. The estimated price, if it ever arrives in India is INR 1.25 Lakhs. The price ends all the possibilities as buying a 125 cc bike for this price seems impossible in the country.
