It depends on where you live, and the value proposition changes. It could make sense in Vietnam with government incentives. In other markets, not so much.

So far as I can tell, the quality of build on the VF3 is pretty much in line with the rest of the budget EVs. You get what you pay for, and at this price point, don’t expect luxury.

Have you ever tried to fit groceries into one of these things? Even just giving a ride to more than one person? It’s not practical for anything beyond basic commuting.

People don’t realize how big of a big deal the charging limitations are. If you run out of battery or you don't have a compatible charger, then what?
Are people exaggerating about how bad the VF3 is or are they being too hard on it?

Now, I know that its no luxury car, but to call it a 'death trap' is completely over the top. It's fine for zipping around the city. Not everyone needs a speed demon or a tank.
