TVS has launched a new limited edition 'Matte Red' shade for Apache RTR 180 and RTR 160. The same shade is presently available on Apache RTR 200. It seems like a positive move as TVS Apache 'Matte Blue' Edition launched last year was a popular variant option among Apache buyers. TVS has officially listed the new variants along with all other models on official TVS Apache website under the pricing section.

This clearly hints that all-new 2018 TVS Apache RTR 160, which was even spotted few times in India, will not launch this year. As Matte Red Editions are based on the same body style as current generation models, TVS will keep performance under check and avoid making any changes to the existing drive-train. Apache RTR 180 is good for 17.03 BHP and 15.5 Nm of torque while smaller 160cc Apache claims 15.2 BHP and 13.1 Nm of torque.
