Tata Motors, a leading automotive manufacturer in India, has recently launched the 2024 DARK SUV range, which includes the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari models. This launch comes as Tata Motors aims to maintain its position as the second-best-selling automaker in India, having registered sales of 51,267 units in February 2024, surpassing Hyundai Motors by about 1,000 units.
The DARK editions of the Harrier, Safari, and Nexon, including the electric version, Nexon EV, feature an all-black exterior color scheme. These editions are based on the facelift versions of the models launched last year.
Pricing and Availability
The DARK edition of the Tata Nexon is priced at Rs 11.45 lakh, while the Nexon EV DARK edition starts at Rs 19.49 lakh. The Harrier DARK edition is available at Rs 19.99 lakh, and the Safari DARK edition is priced at Rs 20.69 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).

The Harrier and Safari DARK editions boast a charismatic exterior design with Bold Oberon Black exteriors. Key features include a welcome goodbye signature animation in the LED DRLs, a new Piano Black front grille, and R19 alloy wheels with Aero inserts. The interiors feature a Blackstone color scheme with Piano Black accents, 10 JBL speakers with Advanced Harman AudioWorX, dual-zone fully automatic temperature controls, leatherette seating with DARK logos, a touch-based central control panel, and second-row ventilated seating.
The Nexon and Nexon EV DARK editions receive significant feature updates. They are offered in the mid-spec Creative and top-spec Fearless trims for the Nexon DARK, and the top-spec Empowered + LR for the Nexon EV DARK. The DARK Editions feature bold and aggressive styling, with sharper lines and a muscular stance.
