Suzuki GSX-R150 Custom Cafe Racer was recently showcased at 2017 Indonesia International Motor Show. It has been built by Insan Motor Bekasi, an Indonesian custom motorcycle builder. They claim that sixty percent of the parts were replaced from the stock version. The front disc brakes has been replaced with twin petal disc brakes while rear gets a single petal disc. The exhaust used here is short and lower placed than the stock version.
The new seat on the motorcycle comes with pillion seat cowl while the fully faired motorcycle now carries just a round headlight and minimum tank extensions. They have protected the radiator by adding body colored guards. There are no actual commercial plans for the cafe racer. Suzuki GSX-R150 comes with features like digital instrument console, keyless ignition, easy start system, sharp taillight and LED headlights in its actual version.
The 147.3 cc, single cylinder engine on the motorcycle is water cooled, DOHC and fuel injected, producing a maximum of 19.17 PS at 10,500 rpm and 14 Nm at 9000 rpm. The stock motorcycle weighs just 131 kg while this cafe racer would be even lighter with least amount of panels on its body. Suzuki offers Brilliant White, Matt Black, Titan Black, Stronger Red/Titan Black and Metallic Triton Blue shade on the GSX-R150. As of now, Suzuki has no plans to launch the GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 in India.
