Hunter 350 Overview

Positioned as the most affordable motorcycle in Royal Enfield's lineup, the Hunter 350 follows a roadster-style design, paying homage to retro aesthetics. Weighing in at 177 kg, it features a long single-piece seat, a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, rounded headlamp, tail lamp, turn indicators, and an upswept exhaust.

Design and Features

The roadster offers a sporty stance with a low seat height, an upright riding position, mid-set foot pegs, and flat handlebars. The instrument cluster is semi-digital, incorporating Tripper Navigation for turn-by-turn directions through Bluetooth connectivity.

Engine and Performance

Sharing its engine with other 350cc Royal Enfield models, the Hunter 350 houses a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine generating 20.2 hp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. It is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox, achieving a top speed of approximately 120 km/h.

Braking and Suspension

The Hunter 350 is available in two variants – the base Retro variant with a front disc brake and rear drum brake with single-channel ABS, and the top-spec Metro variant featuring disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. Suspension components include 41mm RSU telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear.

With the introduction of Dapper O and Dapper G, Royal Enfield continues to infuse freshness into its Hunter 350 lineup, offering riders more choices in terms of colors and styles. The affordability of the Hunter 350, coupled with its distinctive design and reliable performance, positions it competitively in the roadster segment, attracting riders who appreciate a blend of retro aesthetics and modern features. The addition of these new colors further enhances the motorcycle's appeal, contributing to Royal Enfield's ongoing success in the 350cc motorcycle category.

Generally, if any modification is done by the owners of the vehicle, then the warranty of that vehicle would lapse. So if you want to do any modification to your bike, it will be at your own risk. If any further problems or issues occur in your bike due to modification then it won't be covered under warranty. Still, it is suggested to discuss with the nearest authorized Royal Enfield bike dealership. A dealership executive will guide you and give you proper information if you can install Kick Start externally or not.

Which is the best choice: Hunter 350 or Honda Hornet 2.0?
2023-01-13 11:10:16 AM

Both Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and the Honda Hornet 2.0 are great motorcycles in their own right. The Hunter 350 is a great bike for those looking for an affordable, yet stylish small-capacity motorcycle. It has a retro design, great handling and friendly nature that makes it attractive to new riders. On the other hand, the Hornet 2.0 has great handling dynamics and a frugal engine. It also has features such as USD fork and LED lighting which give it a premium feel. However, the lack of engine excitement may put a damper on some riders. Ultimately, we suggest that you take a test ride of both the bikes to decide which one suits you better.
