Royal Enfield has been spotted testing two new motorcycles, the Shotgun 350 and the Classic 650, in India. The Shotgun 350 is a new bobber model, while the Classic 650 is more modern.

The Shotgun 350 is based on the Classic 350, but it has a more stripped-down look with whitewall tires, clear lens indicators, and Ape Hanger handlebars. The back seat is supported by side-mounted grab grips.

The Classic 650 is more of a modern classic. It has a more premium look than the Classic 350. It comes with wire spoke wheels and a good dose of chrome. It also gets a LED headlight unit, which is not offered in the Classic 350.

Both the Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 and the Classic 650 are expected to feature ABS and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The test bikes have traditional telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks, as well as a front and rear disc brake system with multi-channel ABS. Both versions have spoked wheels, but Royal Enfield is expected to offer alloy wheels as an extra.

Both bikes are expected to be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine that powers the current Classic 650 and Interceptor 650. This engine produces a max power output of 47 HP and 52 Nm of peak torque. The Shotgun 350 is expected to be launched in India sometime in 2023, while the Classic 650 is expected to be launched in early 2025.

The Shotgun 350 is a unique and stylish motorcycle, and it is sure to appeal to riders who are looking for a stripped-down bobber. The Classic 650 is a more traditional motorcycle, but it is still a stylish and modern bike.

We're delighted to see more of these two Royal Enfield motorcycles, and we're looking forward to their arrival in India. We hope to see all of Royal Enfield's future motorcycles at the EICMA event in November of this year.

Yes, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a comfortable cruiser and also, and the seat itself is also shaped differently: it’s not sprung and the foam is firmer. It’s soft enough, but not so soft that you sink into it and your backside starts complaining.

Which is better, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 or the Meteor 350?
2023-09-13 04:17:45 AM

Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a great bike in fact that RE engineers and designers have maintained the charming DNA of its predecessor but without the niggles. It was very easy for the brand to overdo the iconic Classic 350, but they have managed to find the right balance and the updates have been done only where required. On the other hand, the new J Platform motor is a clear step change from the UCE, making the Meteor 350 a far more well-rounded motorcycle than any of the previous 350s. It’s not just the engine, the gearbox feels more grown up too and the bike handles itself and its weight rather well.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 looks quite similar to its previous generations, still feeling fresher through its minor design tweaks. It keeps the classic aesthetic with slight stylistic modifications but also has current technology. The headlight features a clear lens with a reworked casing. On a closer look, one can clearly notice that its tank, fenders, and even side panels are redesigned.
