Key Features of the Classic 650 and 650cc Scrambler

Engine

Both the Classic 650 and the 650cc scrambler will be powered by the same 648cc, parallel-twin engine, renowned for its smooth performance and distinctive sound.

Design

The Classic 650 continues the retro aesthetic of the popular Classic 350, with mid-set footpegs and an upright handlebar for a comfortable riding position. The 650cc scrambler, on the other hand adopts an off-road-inspired design, setting it apart from its sibling.

Chassis and Suspension

The Classic 650 is expected to share its chassis and some components with the Super Meteor 650 ensuring a solid and reliable foundation. While both models will feature twin shock absorbers, the 650cc scrambler will boast an upside-down (USD) fork, enhancing its off-road capabilities.

Exhaust System

The scrambler variant will sport a two-into-one exhaust system, potentially making it lighter than other models in the 650cc lineup.

Performance

Both bikes are anticipated to deliver 47hp and 52Nm from the 648cc engine, although the tuning may differ between the two to suit their distinct characteristics.

Launch Expectations

Despite the lack of official confirmation regarding the launch of these bikes, their frequent sightings during testing suggest that Royal Enfield may soon introduce at least one new 650cc model. Enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the expansion of the 650cc range which promises a blend of classic styling, modern performance and the opportunity for new adventures on the road.

In conclusion, Royal Enfield's upcoming Classic 650 and 650cc scrambler are poised to make a significant impact on the motorcycle market offering riders more options to experience the brand's iconic blend of tradition and innovation.
