While we are still discussing what to do when the new year arrives, Maruti Suzuki is all ready to launch its Ignis through the widespread Nexa dealership network. The car is expected to arrive on 13 January 2017, a report from AutoCar India suggests. It would be the first product from the company to launch in the country for the year 2017. The car was showcased at Auto Expo 2016 in its near production version. The car is a funky new entry into the sensible looking products at the Nexa outlets.
The best part of Ignis would be its all new interior, carrying a floating touchscreen, Smartplay infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, all new steering wheel and fresh dashboard layout with new switch-gear and refreshed futuristic design. The car is expected to get a lower price tag than Maruti Swift, helping the brand get a worthy replacement for the Maruti Ritz. Although it would sell through Nexa dealerships, it would be the one of the most affordable products by Maruti Suzuki, with an expected ex-showroom price to start around INR 5 lakhs.
