The 2017 model of Z1000 is BS4-compliant and it is one of the best-looking 1000cc naked street bikes in the World. Z1000 is powered by a 1043cc 4-cylinder engine, which is good for 140 BHP @ 10,000 rpm of maximum power and 111 NM @ 73,00 rpm of maximum torque.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. 2017 Kawasaki Z1000 might get a slight bump in the ex-showroom price and might cross the INR 13 lakh mark this time. There are no major changes in terms of design and looks of the bike. Internationally, Z1000 competes with the likes of KTM 1290 Super Duke R, Suzuki GSX-S1000, Honda CB1000R, Ducati Monster 1200R, and Yamaha FZ-10.

As per the latest details available, Kawasaki is all-set to launch the BS4 version of its top-end Z-series sport bike Z1000 in India on April 22. Supreme Court recently put a ban on the sale of BS3 vehicles in India, which forced the manufacturers to update their products and some of the vehicles have been discontinued in India.
