2018 Kawasaki KX250F Launched in India @ INR 7.43 lakh

Kawasaki has launched the 2018 model of KX250F in India for INR 7.43 lakhs (ex-showroom India). The 2017 model of the bike was already on-sale in India for INR 7.13 lakhs, and it has been replaced by the 2018 model with a price hike of INR 30,000. KX250F is a track-only bike and it can't be registered to ride on the streets. Kawasaki is also selling the KLX110 in India for INR 2.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). 2018 KX250F is quite more powerful and practical in comparison to KLX series. KLX110 was for kids while adults can take the fun of dirt riding to an all new level with the KX250F. These bikes are not road legal as it lacks a headlight, taillight and turn indicators. Kawasaki will not localize the products, hence bringing the KX250F as a CBU only. The reason it is priced on the higher side. The motorcycle is an excellent dirt machine with a 249cc, liquid cooled, single-cylinder fuel injected engine. The 2018 model gets a new throttle body and fuel injector for increased torque. There's also a new intake boot, fuel pump, camshaft, cylinder head and the updated model also gets a revised compression ratio (13.4:1). The exhaust header is now longer in comparison to the 2017 model. The result is a wider power band across the rpm range. The bike is equipped with excellent performance components like Showa 48 mm USD forks for the front and Uni-Trak Showa shock at the rear. The front tyre measure 80/100-21 while the rear is 100/90-19. Kawasaki KX250F weighs just 104.2 kg ad attains the best in class power to weight ratio for ease in all terrain riding. It comes equipped with 270 mm front disc brake with 2-piston calipers while the rear brake is 240 mm single disc brake with single piston caliper. Kawasaki wishes to bring world class riding experience on the Indian terrain and it is even one of few brands which bring most of their products in India within short intervals.
