The exterior features continue to remain same as that were revealed in concept form during the 2016 Beijing Motor Show that took place in April this year. It features the same styling inspired from the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language. It features the latest sleek headlamps with projector lighting, hexagonal grille inspired from Audi, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, sporty bumpers, redesigned C-pillar and a boot-integrated spoiler. Coming to its dimensions, it is being speculated that the new Verna measures 4380 mm, 1728 mm and 1460 mm in length, width and height respectively. It will have 30 mm more wheelbase than the existing Verna. Powering the new Verna would be 1.4 litre or 1.6 litre petrol engine with a capability to generate 100 HP and 123 HP in China mated to 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. However, the Indian variant of Verna is expected to have 1.4 litre or 1.6 litre CRDi diesel engines as well. Hyundai is likely to begin the sales of its next-gen Verna by the end of this year in China and may be next year in Indian and Russian markets.
