Later this year, Hyundai India may announce the prices for the Creta EV, which is anticipated to be based on the recently launched Creta facelift. The Creta EV is now being extensively tested ahead of its scheduled debut later this year and Recent spy images spreading on the internet have revealed new details about the impending mid-size electric SUV.

Recent spy shots reveal that the new Creta EV will feature new wheels. Unlike the dual-tone or machined alloy wheels found on the internal combustion engine (ICE) version, the electric variant is set to receive aero-focused units. While the taillights and rear end are expected to remain unchanged, there may be updates to the rear bumper. Additionally, the front fascia could sport a new bumper design along with a closed-off grille.

Interior Changes

Although the Creta EV will retain most of its visual elements from its ICE sibling, significant changes are expected on the inside. Potential features could be upgraded upholstery, a drive mode selector dial, and extra inserts designed with electric cars in mind.

Expected Range of the Creta EV

Hyundai has not yet disclosed the technical specifications of the battery-powered Creta. However, it is speculated that the Creta EV will be equipped with a 55-60 kWh battery pack, providing a claimed range of 550 km on a single full charge.
