Honda sells bikes like Africa Twin in this segment which has been successful all over the world, so the company decided to bring new bikes to strengthen its hold in this segment. A 1,084cc engine has been installed in this bike, which is inspired by the Africa Twin; this engine provides the power of 101 HP and torque of 104 Newton meters.

Along with this, the bike is equipped with a touchscreen instrument cluster with DCT and dual display from Africa Twin, which comes with Apple CarPlay connectivity. Also, this new adventure bike also has a large windscreen which can also be adjusted. Along with this, there is an option of auxiliary light, hard case luggage, fully LED lighting, pillion backrest etc.

Its concept model CB4X was introduced in 2019, followed by patent work in 2020. It was believed to be named CB1100X, but the trademark revealed that it was to be called NT1100 and this confirms the launch and name of this bike. Its overall look seems to be inspired by the CB4X with half the fairing visible, the engine part has been completely exposed.

It has been spotted testing several times in other countries, with the full reveal recently made for the European market. Now whether this bike will be brought to the Indian market or not, has not been confirmed yet. Not long ago, the company brought a small adventure bike to India. The Honda CB200X has been launched in India at a price of Rs 1.44 lakh, which is based on the company's Hornet 2.0.
