Before the heat of this festive season, Honda has silently launched the Special Edition of CB Hornet 160R in India. The motorcycle carries two new shades and attractive sticker-job for an attractive overall stance. The dual tone paint scheme now includes Mars Orange and Striking Green over the Matte Black body shade. The rim tapes are of the same shades on both the new shades.
The Special Edition Hornet commands a premium of Rs 1,000 over the regular shades available with the motorcycle. This makes the non-CBS, single disc variant cost INR 81,413 while the higher variant costs INR 85,912.
Honda CB Hornet 160R is powered by the same 162.71 cc engine that powers the Unicorn 160R. The tune has been upgraded and the engine now produces 15.66 BHP and 14.76 Nm of torque on the Hornet. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 110 kmph. It weighs around 142 kg and comes with wide tyres for a perfect street bike feel.
