Honda Elevate has undergone two price hikes within a short span of around seven months since its launch, showcasing its popularity in the compact SUV segment. Launched in September last year, the model quickly gained traction and emerged as a strong competitor boasting over 20,000 bookings in its initial 100 days. The Honda Elevate is still a popular choice for purchasers despite the recent price rise particularly in its top-spec models.

New Prices and Variants

The Honda Elevate has undergone a significant price revision, with increases of up to Rs 40,000 across its various trim levels.

  • The base SV variant now starts at Rs 11.91 lakh, reflecting a substantial Rs 33,000 increase.
  • Moving up the range, the V manual variant sees a notable Rs 40,000 hike, now priced at Rs 12.71 lakh.
  • The V CVT variant is now available at Rs 13.71 lakh, up by Rs 30,000 from its previous price.
  • The VX manual variant sees a significant increase of Rs 40,000, bringing its new price to Rs 14.10 lakh.
  • Similarly, the VX CVT variant now costs Rs 15.10 lakh, reflecting a Rs 30,000 increase.
  • The ZX manual variant sees a price hike of Rs 31,000, now starting at Rs 15.41 lakh.
  • Lastly, the top-spec ZX CVT variant has the least price increase, now priced at Rs 16.43 lakh, marking a Rs 23,000 hike.

Enhanced Safety Features

Honda Elevate boasts a comprehensive safety kit with new additions included in the standard safety package. The kit now comprises six airbags, seat belt reminders for all seats, and 3-point ELR seat belts, all standard across all variants. Additional safety features include hill start assist, rear camera with guidelines, rear parking sensors, vehicle stability assist (VSA) with electronic stability and traction control, and auto-dimming IRVM. Top-spec variants also offer a range of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) via the Honda Sensing suite.

Performance and Fuel Efficiency

Powering the Honda Elevate is a 1,498cc engine that delivers 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The manual gearbox variant offers a fuel efficiency of 15.31 km/l while the CVT variant provides a slightly higher efficiency of 16.92 km/l, making the Elevate a fuel-efficient choice in the compact SUV segment.

Honda is also focusing on utilizing Elevate's export capabilities with positive results. Elevate has emerged as the fourth most exported car from India, with 3,610 units exported in February 2024, holding a market share of 5.94%.
