Real-World Fuel Efficiency Test

In our real-world fuel efficiency tests, the Grand Vitara demonstrated superior fuel economy compared to the Elevate. The Grand Vitara achieved 13.72 kmpl in city driving conditions and an impressive 19.05 kmpl on the highway. In comparison, the Elevate returned 12.60 kmpl in the city and 16.40 kmpl on the highway. Despite falling short of their claimed figures, the Grand Vitara outperformed the Elevate in both urban and highway driving scenarios.

Mileage Comparison

When comparing the fuel efficiency of both vehicles in different driving conditions (city:highway ratio), the Grand Vitara consistently delivered better mileage. In a 50:50 city-highway ratio, the Grand Vitara achieved 15.95 kmpl compared to the Elevate's 14.25 kmpl. Similarly, in a 25:75 city-highway ratio, the Grand Vitara returned 17.36 kmpl, whereas the Elevate managed 15.25 kmpl. Even in a 75:25 city-highway ratio, the Grand Vitara offered 14.75 kmpl, while the Elevate lagged behind at 13.37 kmpl.
