Hero MotoCorp officially unveiled the 2017 Glamour 125 in Argentina and signed legendary Football player Diego Simeone as their brand ambassador. The bike is now available in India with a starting price tag of INR 59,430 for the base drum non-fi model and the top fuel-injected model with front disc brake is priced at INR 70,280. These prices are ex-showroom Delhi. 2017 Hero Glamour carries forward the successful brand name with a new design and in-house developed all-new 125 cc engine.
New Glamour will continue to sell in both carburetor and fuel injection model (till stock lasts). Here are the performance and design details for the 2017 Hero Glamour from Argentina. The motorcycle produces a maximum power of 11.4 BHP at 7500 rpm and 11 Nm of maximum torque at 6500 rpm.
This makes the 2017 Glamour gain 27 percent more power and 6 percent more torque than the previous generation. The fuel efficiency has even increased by 3 percent on the carburetor fed model and 7 percent on the fuel injected model. Hero even offers torque on demand function on the 2017 Glamour.
2017 Glamour gets an all new design that is sharper and more effective than the older version. The fuel tank is muscular and gets effective tank shrouds. The rear light is LED while the front gets AHO (auto headlight on) functionality.
The new motorcycle is great on fuel saving as it uses the Hero's patented i3S technology that actually shuts the engine down when standing idle. The same is being offered in Hero Splendor, Passion and Achiever series that is sold in India.
