Toyota Urban Cruiser Compact SUV Fully Revealed: Ahead of the official debut, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara-based Toyota Urban Cruiser has been fully revealed in a new set of photos. As it was being speculated, the Toyota version of the compact SUV features a unique front fascia to set itself apart from the Vitara Brezza. The Urban Cruiser features a Toyota Fortuner-inspired twin-slat front grille, a faux skid plate, round fog lamps, and a muscular front bumper. The brand has further equipped the compact SUV with all-new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Coming to the Interior, it is more or less the same in comparison to the Maruti Vitara Brezza except for the Toyota logo on the steering wheel and the new black-brown interior colour combination. In terms of the technical specifications, the Toyota version of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will be powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol engine which is good for a maximum power of 103HP at 6000 rpm along with 138Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. The engine will be further mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while the brand will also be offering a 4-speed automatic transmission as optional.

Some of the key features of Toyota Urban Cruiser include an automatic climate control system, an engine start-stop button, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, front passenger seatbelt warning system, speed alert system, a multi-function steering wheel, automatic rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, and an electrochromic internal rearview mirror.
Once launched in India, the Toyota Urban Cruiser will be priced in the same vicinity of INR 7 to INR 11 lakh just like the Vitara Brezza though the brand is expected to sweeten up the deal further with impressive warranty schemes for the high-end variants.
