In order to make its presence known across newer cities as well as towns in India, Maruti Suzuki has launched its all-new mobile NEXA Terminal. The new initiative will allow the brand to reach more potential as well as existing customers and offer them a chance to experience full-fledged NEXA services. The brand has opened 360 NEXA showrooms across the country till date and has over 9 lakh customers. Maruti Suzuki India offers Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, and S-Cross models through its NEXA showrooms.
According to the brand, the mobile NEXA Terminal will offer an identical experience to the customers as offered by a showroom. India’s largest carmaker has witnessed sales drop in the last consecutive four months and this initiative allows the brand to reach more customers in the mobile areas, where there are no NEXA outlets. The mobile outlet features a lounge and display area as well as allows the customers to access information via tablets.

Commenting on the success of Nexa, Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. said: "In less than 4 years of its launch, NEXA has rapidly grown to become the most successful premium retail network in India and contributes over 20% to our total sales. In this short span of time, we have set up over 360 NEXA outlets covering more than 200 cities and added over 9 lakh happy NEXA customers. This mobile NEXA terminal will help us to connect with customers in geographies where NEXA outlets are currently not present."
The premium cars under the NEXA accounts to more than 20% of the total sales of the brand. The mobile NEXA outlet is the second initiative taken by the brand for connecting well with its customers across the country, the “Suzuki Connect” being the first. The latter allows the brand to enhance the real-time experience for its customers by offering live updates, vehicle status, emergency alerts as well as vehicle tracking via a smartphone app.
