Meet Ford Raptor Prerunner by Deberti Designs: Ford may not have launched a Raptor in India till date but still, this commanding truck has a large fan following in our country. It is huge and modifiers further take this measure to the next level. Here we will witness the world’s most expensive Ford Raptor of all time, built exclusively by Deberti Designs and auctioned for $300,000 (INR 1.92 Crore approx). Yes, you read the price right. This takes it almost closer to Mercedes G-Wagon but adds a lot more in terms of capability and design. The extra wide body was designed in CAD and made in such a way that paint finish of the Raptor is not spoiled by those extra wide tyres. Many parts were replaced with carbon fiber units for weight saving and adding more rigidity to this truck. The fabrication of individual parts, that too exclusively for this variant, has raised the cost by such huge margin. Not just that, the cost of Donor vehicle is also included in the overall price tag. Article imageDeberti has used layered titanium for the grille and tail section. 39 inch BFGoodrich Baja T/A tyres were fitted over 17 inch off-road specific rims. Luxury pre-runner features like heated seats and almost stock interior configuration (added with rear seat entertainment) made this Raptor the most exclusive one ever built. Rear is almost empty with two full sized spare tyres while the front comes with all Black finish on the Ford grille and lower bumper section. 3D printing these body parts further raised the cost. The expensive parts of this Raptor hides a 3.5L, EcoBoost V6 engine that is tuned for 545 HP and 895 Nm of torque. This is the result of custom tuned ECU and high flow K&N filters for this massive but economical engine. Article imageArticle image
