Tata Nexon vs Ford EcoSport: Tata Nexon was recently launched in India for INR 5.85 lakh. Tata’s innovative design that was first seen few years back now comes with practical additions, starting first from its very powerful 1.5L, 4-cylinder diesel engine. It is good for 110 HP at 3750 rpm and 260 Nm at 1500-2750 rpm. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. For the first time, Tata Motors have given emphasis on petrol power, using 1.2L turbocharged motor that is good for 110 HP at 5000 rpm and 170 Nm at 1750-4000 rpm.

Tata Nexon vs Ford EcoSport

Ford EcoSport, on the other hand, is powered by 1498cc, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 100 HP at 3750 rpm and 205 Nm at 1750-3250 rpm. EcoSport comes with an even more powerful, 1.0L EcoBoost engine, producing 125 HP at 6000 rpm and 170 Nm at 1400-4500 rpm. The range starts at INR 8.67 lakh for EcoBoost petrol engine while Nexon offers the same at just INR 5.85 lakh. Diesel range starts at INR 6.85 lakh for Nexon and INR 7.91 lakh for EcoSport. Tata has loaded Nexon with class leading features like 16 inch machine cut wheels, 209 mm of ground clearance and much more.
