BMW Motorrad recently got a hike in ex-showroom prices for its entire lineup. The changes are partially due to GST and rest with the change of prices from introductory to permanent. BMW range starts right from R1200R and goes up to the huge K1600 GTL. This one is the second entry of BMW Motorrad in India, this time fully prepared with new marketing strategy and even practical prices than before. Fans were disappointed with the earlier pricing as they were double the cost of any superbike in same engine segment. But now, one can buy any BMW Motorrad model with ease due to their perfect placement. Article image BMW R1200 R comes with a price tag of INR 15.20 lakh. This is one premium roadster that you can drive all day and that too with maximum power on light throttle. The 1170cc, twin cylinder engine is good for 125 HP at 7750 rpm and 125 Nm at 6500 rpm. The same engine is used on R1200 GS, R1200 RS (both INR 16.20 lakh) and R1200 RT (INR 18.80 lakh). The most popular BMW S1000RR now costs INR 19.20 lakh and rivals none other than India's favorite superbike league namely Honda CBR1000RR, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Kawasaki ZX-10R and Yamaha YZF-R1. Article image BMW K1600 GTL is one different story from all others, carrying 1649cc six cylinder engine producing 160 HP at 7750 rpm and 175 Nm at 5250 rpm. The power is more than enough to propel this 348 kg tourer like a superbike and reach speeds above 200 kmph with much ease. It has a huge 26.5 liter fuel tank and offers accessible 750 mm of seat height. BMW offers two vintage inspired models namely R nineT Scrambler and R nineT for INR 16.20 lakh and INR 18.20 lakh respectively. They will improve their reach further through more dealerships in coming months. The much-awaited and most-affordable BMW G310R & G310GS are yet to be launched in India. As per the latest details available, BMW Motorrad has confirmed that they are working on expanding the number of dealerships in India. Contrary to the rumors, BMW has assured that they will launch the G310R series in India for sure. You can read more about the launch details here. Post-GST BMW Motorrad Price List
