BMW G310R Launch Date in India & Complete Details: A recent report from AutoCar India confirms that BMW Motorrad will launch both G310R and G310GS in the Indian market in the second half of 2018.
The only reason for their wait is the lack of dealerships, which will soon end as BMW will open 3 new dealerships by the end of this year (Delhi, Chennai and Cochin) and 3 more in 2018 (Chandigarh, Kolkata and Hyderabad).

One can safely assume July 2018 as a good time for arrival of both the lightweight category products. Both these bikes are produced at TVS Hosur facility and compete against KTM 390 Duke in this segment. Even pricing will follow the same lines and expecting INR 2.25-2.50 lakh would be fair enough for the roadster.
BMW currently has four showrooms in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune. Their entry in Delhi would be the first for North India while Chandigarh’s dealership will serve better to 4-5 nearby states. Indian market presently has all CBU models on list while mid size bikes would make it later into the country.

BMW G310GS[/caption]
A strong network of dealerships will help them sell G310R and G310GS in good numbers. Buyers can expect around INR 30,000 worth of price difference in both the bikes. GS comes with bigger 19-inch wheels, better seating and provision to mount luggage for long rides. The seat height of G310GS is even higher than G310R.
