KTM 125 Duke vs Yamaha FZ25: The 250cc Yamaha FZ is a segment leader at INR 1.19 lakh, not just impressing everyone with its pricing but also producing unmatchable power in comparison to other bikes around this price segment. The launch of KTM 125 Duke at INR 1.18 lakh placed it right against the flagship street machine from Yamaha, offering benefits of premium parts for the Orange machine and unbeatable power for the Blue team. KTM 125 Duke is available with upside down front forks, single-channel ABS and better instrument console in comparison to the Yamaha FZ25. The 125cc engine is liquid cooled for higher levels of refinement within city riding conditions. Yamaha FZ25 measures double in terms of displacement, producing 8 Nm of excess torque in comparison to the 125cc Duke. The power figure also comes with a gap of 6.4 PS between both the rivals. However, the weight is exactly similar due to the use of premium performance-spec components on both the bikes. The six-speed gearbox is exclusive to KTM 125 Duke while Yamaha offers a relaxed riding 5-speed gearbox with maximum power and torque availability at a much lower point. Along with the brakes and suspension components, tyres are also better on KTM 125 Duke.
