TVS to Launch All-New Radeon Motorcycle on August 23

A recent report on the internet has confirmed that TVS Radeon will be the new product that the Indian manufacturer will launch on August 23, 2018. As most fans are waiting for a 125cc commuter after the discontinuation of Phoenix, the report hints at a 110cc motorcycle with all new design. The 110cc engine, if used under the Radeon brand name, will be the same three-valve unit as seen on Victor. Earlier, the Victor was a 125cc motorcycle and Radeon concept was based on that engine. Yes, the name was first heard at Auto Expo 2012 and design was highly inspired from Star City. The 110cc, single-cylinder engine on Victor is good for 9.5 hp at 7500 rpm and 9.4 Nm at 6000 rpm. Using this motor can be a wise idea if lower price is the only concern for TVS but 125cc could have helped them rival popular options like Honda CB Shine and Hero Glamour. Also, more displacement promises better acceleration and top speed numbers for a commuter.
