Apache RR 310 Race Version Revealed: Selections for TVS Apache RR Cup are finally over. They have shortlisted 12 riders who will compete in the upcoming race. TVS also showcased their 12 track spec Apache RR 310 bikes with no headlight, tail light, mirrors, rear fender and rear foot pegs. Surprisingly, they left the rear seat intact.
These bikes are lighter by a good margin and reports even claim that power production from the 312.2cc engine has crossed 45 HP in the race specific tune. One can also spot that smaller exhaust unit on all 12 RR310 bikes.
It seems like the motorcycle has turned back to the basics with most aspects matching that of original Akula design. All motorcycles are finished in Racing Red shade and each one gets White finished front fascia with bike number on it. Suspension and brake tuning must have been changed to the stiffer side.
Stock Apache RR 310 comes priced at INR 2.23 lakh and thus, rivals KTM RC 390 in this segment. The difference of INR 13,000 between both bikes is justified through addition of slipper clutch and ride by wire in RC 390.
