TVS Motor has just launched a new and more affordable variant of the Apache RTR 200 4V street bike in the Indian markets. Equipped with Super-Moto ABS, which is essentially a single-channel ABS unit, the new variant of RTR 200 4V has been launched with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.24 lakhs. This makes it INR 5,000 cheaper in comparison to the dual-channel ABS model of the bike, which is currently available at INR 1.29 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Apart from the ABS unit, no changes have been made to the motorcycle in terms of design and technical specifications. The brand has further equipped the motorcycle with an LED headlight setup while the handlebar is mated to claw-styled aerodynamic mirrors. The Super-Moto ABS model of the motorcycle continues to feature the low-speed riding mode known as GTT (Glide Through Traffic). The rider can use the all-new riding mode for low-speed urban riding which offers better handling on the road and improves the performance. The BS6 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has been further equipped with a feather-touch start system in addition to getting a wave-bite ignition key as well as claw-styled position lamps which offer better illumination. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The customers can avail the Apache RTR 200 4V with Super-Moto ABS in Gloss Black and Pearl White colour options.
