Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Edition: Costa Motor Co from Hyderabad recently presented this beautiful custom bobber named ‘Sassy’. Based on Royal Enfield Classic 350, Sassy has a design language that stays in demand throughout India.
Most customers are choosing bobber styling over their regular street or cruiser friendly aesthetics as it not just looks classy but also brings commanding ride position to the owner. They chose a dark shade for Sassy as bright options are now widely available on Royal Enfield Classic as well as Thunderbird range.
Keeping matte theme standard across all parts, front and rear fender was left black to highlight their new tank design. Front fender is now chopped and looks closer to the tyre. This comes as a side effect of using fat front tyre within stock suspension setup as sidewall of present front tyre makes it quite close to the fender.
Rear fender is custom made and houses a huge tyre with thicker than usual sidewall. Apart from wrapping first half of exhaust with heat insulating tape, rear half looks stock and proud in chrome. Engine bay is now dark themed as upper half is completely black for that perfect 2018 bobber feel.
Classic 350 is available with detachable rear seat and that helped them avoid any alteration of frame. They have wrapped the front seat in leather and used diamond quilting to bring that premium finish on Sassy. Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a 346cc, single cylinder engine producing 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of massive torque.
The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. They are using custom front headlight and stock console in all new pods for better front fascia looks. Number plate has moved to the left side while stock handlebar makes way for this huge highway friendly, Harley inspired handlebar for relaxed riding.
