Royal Enfield Beats Jawa by a Huge Margin: Classic Legends launched the new range of Jawa motorcycles back in November 2018 with a starting price tag of INR 1.64 lakhs (ex-showroom). After revealing the sales figures for 3-4 months, Classic Legends then stopped revealing the sales data for an indefinite period. Surprisingly, after a gap of more than one year, FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India) has revealed the sales figure for Jawa motorcycles in addition to the rest of the 2-wheeler brands in India. According to the sales report, Royal Enfield sold 34,313 units in July 2020 while Classic Legends was able to sell only 569 units of Jawa motorcycles in the same period.

It seems like Jawa won't be able to surpass Royal Enfield's monthly sales number anytime soon. In comparison to Jawa, Royal Enfield has a huge range of products which are available from a wide network of sales outlets. The reason RE has a monopoly in the Indian market and moreover, the Chennai-based brand has a lower starting price range in comparison to Jawa motorcycles.
