Online Sale of Classic 500 Limited Edition: Royal Enfield is offering 15 Classic 500 Stealth Black motorcycles online, used specifically for anti-terrorism drive by the NSG unit across 13 states. The motorcycles were ridden by 15 bravehearts from Black Cat Commando unit under the NSG Motorcycle Expedition title.
The initiative by NSG and Royal Enfield will donate the money earned from this sale to non-profit organisation ‘Prerna’ for serving underprivileged children. Each bike is priced at INR 1,90,000 and that includes transfer cost and all other expenses. The motorcycles will be offered with engraved metal plate to mark the spirit of Black Cats in this expedition.

The motorcycles are well serviced. They will be sold only through first come, first serve basis on December 13. Interested buyers can register for the sale today through official Royal Enfield website. A new Royal Enfield 500 Stealth Black costs INR 2.05 lakh (on-road) in Chennai.
The ones sold through the initiative will also get the same standard warranty as a new bike. Limited number of units will mean a tough competition and thus, buyers could register as soon as possible. The riding gear provided to the NSG unit was also from Royal Enfield’s stable.
Classic 500 Stealth Black was recently introduced in India for INR 1.85 lakh (approx.). The motorcycle is powered by a 499cc, single cylinder fuel injected unit producing 27.2 Bhp and 41.4 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It comes with matte black livery and feels premium when compared to standard Classic 500.
Royal Enfield is currently the sixth best selling brand of India, having no direct rival in its dominating territory. However, Bajaj Dominar 400 and Mahindra Mojo are two challenging products for Royal Enfield Classic series. 350cc Royal Enfield bikes have a huge market share when compared to 500cc options.
