Royal Enfield Motorcycles Sales Report: Eicher Motors is a proud parent to Royal Enfield. They have scored numerous feats in last financial year, changing the way people looked at a brand that featured retro modern machines from many last decades. Rise in overall sale was phenomenal as they scored 23% growth from April 2017 to March 2018.
Total number of units sold was 8,20,492 and that counts to an approx sale of 68,000+ units each month. In comparison, Royal Enfield was good for just 6,66,490 units in FY 2016-17. Even March 2018 was great month with 76,087 units sold throughout the world.

Royal Enfield Recently Launched the Thunderbird X Series in India[/caption]
This was their first financial year when just India specific sales figure jumped the 8 lakh mark. The speed at which Royal Enfield is increasing its footprint also confirms that 1M (10,00,000) units is not an unrealistic figure to achieve.
As they are pushing equal effort into their overseas arms, the name Royal Enfield and its sweet thump could once again be heard across all possible continents in coming months. Not just that, the entry of bigger 650cc bikes also confirm their plans of expanding business at even aggressive pace in markets like Europe and US.

Classic 350 is the Best-Selling Royal Enfield in India[/caption]
Royal Enfield Motorcycles are currently priced between INR 1.15 lakh to INR 1.98 lakh. This range will be further extended once they launch Interceptor and Continental GT 650 in India. Those huge numbers are dependent on just one single engine as without its existence, Royal Enfield could not scale new heights in the Indian automobile industry.
The 346cc, single cylinder air cooled motor powers Classic 350 and Bullet 350, both of which are highest selling products of all time. Thunderbird brand name was given an all new ‘X’ treatment and thus, one can expect bigger numbers to arrive soon from that side.
