Royal Enfield's October 2026 dispatches rose 6.8% to 1,33,442 motorcycles, compared with 1,24,951 a year earlier. Domestic dispatches remained the larger part of the business, while exports grew more quickly from a smaller base.

Royal Enfield October 2026: domestic and export split

Exports11,9158,107About 47%
Total1,33,4421,24,9516.8%

The two October 2026 components reconcile exactly: 1,21,527 domestic motorcycles plus 11,915 exports equals 1,33,442. The total increased by 8,491 motorcycles, comprising an additional 4,683 in domestic business and 3,808 in exports.

Why the export percentage needs context

Exports recorded the faster percentage rise, but the domestic market still accounted for roughly nine in every ten motorcycles in the monthly total. A 47% increase in the smaller export base should therefore not be read as 47% growth for the whole company.

Equally, domestic and export results should be kept separate when comparing Royal Enfield with other manufacturers. A domestic-only figure from another company is not directly comparable with Royal Enfield's combined dispatch headline.

Domestic business supplies most of the volume; exports deliver the faster percentage increase.

Dispatches are different from retail registrations

The announcement describes company dispatches. It does not count every motorcycle registered by an individual customer during October. Dealer inventory movement and the timing of customer registrations can produce different monthly readings, so a retail comparison needs its own defined dataset.

The aggregate also does not identify the sales contribution of any one Royal Enfield model. It cannot establish a model-wise bestseller, explain the full effect of a recent launch or confirm a particular dealer's delivery schedule.

What buyers and industry watchers can take away

The October result shows growth in both domestic and overseas business, with the overall increase supported by contributions from each. For a buyer, the figures provide brand-level context; variant availability and delivery timing remain questions for the actual order. Subsequent monthly releases will show whether both channels maintain their momentum.
