650cc Royal Enfield Twins Launched in Vietnam: Royal Enfield is continuously marking its presence globally by reaching new markets. The latest country to receive the 650cc Royal Enfield Twins is Vietnam. The company has even announced the inauguration of its second store in the country which would be located in Hanoi. Since the launch of the 650cc Twins, the experts have shown positive results in sales. The Royal Enfield 650cc bikes have registered domestic sales and exports of 5,168 units since their deliveries began in November 2018. Royal Enfield has even increased its production capacity to 4500-5000 units per month which were previously about 2500 units. According to the company, these two bikes have been developed and designed specifically for the global markets. Mechanically, the Royal Enfield INT 650 and the Continental GT 650 are powered by the same 648cc, powerful parallel twin-cylinder, air+oil cooled SOHC engine. It has been tuned to deliver 47 HP of power at 7250 rpm and 52 NM of torque at 5250 rpm. However, they both get a different styling as the INT 650 is a modern retro roadster while the Continental GT 650 is a cafe racer. Siddhartha Lal, the MD and CEO of Eicher Motors, the parent company of Royal Enfield, said in a recent interview that the 650 twins could reach an annual sales figure of up to 1 million units globally in the coming 5 to 10 years.
