MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America Edition is all set to be launched as a special edition motorcycle by MotoRoyale, the official retailer of the Italian brand in India. Representing the various colours of the American Flag, the motorcycle features a unique colour combination of Blue, Red and White. Article image MV Agusta has been known to introduce several American editions for its motorcycles for decades though, India will only be getting a total of 5 units of Brutale 800 RR America Edition, making it one of the exclusive editions to be ever sold. The standard version of MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR is priced at INR 18.99 lakhs, thus, we can expect the special edition rank few lakhs higher in the price range. Article image The red leather seats featured on the special edition motorcycle compliments its exclusive looks while the blue fuel tank adds on the “Very American” persona. All of the 5 buyers will be granted a certificate of authentication with their bikes. All the five models to be sold in India features an ‘America Special Edition’ sticker as well as a production number. Article image There haven’t been any mechanical changes made to the motorcycle. It still continues to be powered by a 798cc, an inline three-cylinder engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 140 HP @ 12,300rpm and a torque of 87 Nm @ 10,100rpm. The engine has been mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. The suspension duties are handled by 43mm Marzocchi inverted forks at the front while monoshock absorber at the rear. It features dual 320mm disc brakes at the front and a single 220mm disc brake at the rear. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America Edition will compete in the market with the likes of Triumph Street Triple RS, Yamaha MT-09 and Ducati Monster 821.
