TVS Apache RR 310 Beats Honda CBR250R (Sales Report): Apache RR 310 scored 183 units in April 2019, taking the famed CBR250R down by 22 units during the 30-day period. The flagship TVS motorcycle is yet to receive an update that will improve the overall feature list but still, it got more buyers than the rival CBR250R. The drop in the sales number for CBR250R is all because the model is now available only in one variant, which is equipped with a dual-channel ABS unit, and is priced at INR 1.95 lakh. Not just that, the launch of the CB300R in India further distracted customers by offering more power and value by adding INR 46,000 to the price tag of the CBR250R. Sales Report (April 2019)

  • Apache RR 310: 183 units
  • Honda CBR250R: 161 units
Honda may use the bigger 300cc motor to upgrade the full-faired machine along with a new design in the future. The 2020 model of Apache RR 310 is expected to bring slipper clutch, more equipment and new shades with the upgrade. The 312cc engine is currently tuned to produce 34HP of maximum power while Honda CBR250R is good for just 26.5HP. The launch of Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will highly influence the sales number for Honda CBR250R while the effect on TVS Apache RR 310 would not be that great. The Honda 2-wheelers lineup is facing some trouble as the overall production has been slashed considerably. At present, the feature-loaded full-faired Apache RR 310 is available for INR 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). TVS Motor will soon launch the upgraded model of the RR 310 in India on May 28.
