Honda 2-Wheelers posts magical numbers each month, leaving entire industry shocked with a huge number of Activa’s moving into Indian households. On an average, more than 10,000 units of Activa were sold each day across the country in August 2018, which undoubtedly is a larger number than the monthly sales of the majority of products on sale in India. The scooter market is also dominated by Honda Dio, Grazia, and Aviator, with Cliq and Navi under-performing for their price tags. Unlike Hero, Honda is more scooter oriented with a bigger number on the gearless side.

In motorcycles, the Honda CB Shine, along with Dream, Unicorn, and Livo, brings the majority of sales into the brand. The xBlade and CB Hornet are two best-selling products of their respective segment too. As seen with Navi, Honda CBR250R has a sudden fall in numbers when compared to all other products in the lineup. Honda CBR650F is the most selling sportbike with 12 units in one month while Goldwing and Africa Twin were good for 7 and 5 units respectively. All the products collectively registered 5,77,249 units in August 2018.

Honda scored the second position among top-selling brands, staying behind just Hero MotoCorp with a marginal gap. The rising popularity of CB Shine and Dream Series can bring them even bigger numbers in the coming months. Majority of Honda products will get CBS in the coming months.
