India's Most Powerful Bajaj Dominar: A modified Bajaj Dominar from Bengaluru claims to be the most powerful Dominar 400 of India. They have upgraded the performance quotient of this motorcycle by 20% as it now produces way more power and torque than a regular motorcycle. Race Concepts, a Bangalore based motorcycle and car tuning outlet, has modified the engine head and remapped the ECU to get additional power out of this engine. Not just that, fans would also love to know that filter used here is free flow and so is the new exhaust system. The expected on-crank value for this Dominar is 40 HP and 40 NM. Article imageThe stock model of Dominar 400 makes 27 WHP and this one makes 33.4 WHP. According to Race Concepts, the new model of KTM Duke 390 makes 32-33 WHP. They have measured wheel horsepower (WHP) and torque value as these are the values that are actually available to the rider after clearing transmission losses. When seen in terms of cars, a normal WHP value is 15% less than the value seen at flywheel (BHP). All-wheel drive further loses the value by up to 25%. In case of motorcycles, the value for WHP depends highly on the components used as the heavier primary wheel is to be moved for a forward biased action. Article imageBajaj Dominar 400 is a powerful machine with 373.2cc, single cylinder engine producing 35 HP at 8000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox that further comes with slipper clutch for smoother shifts during aggressive track style downshifts. It weighs too much at 182 kg as KTM bike with the same engine capacity are much lighter in comparison. The power values feels low because of its high weight but reduction is not that possible as most of it is concentrated in its frame and engine. The range for Dominar series falls between INR 1.42-1.56 lakh (Ex-showroom). Article image For Further Inquiries and Pricing Details, You Can Contact:
