Bajaj Auto is getting ready to revamp its flagship model, the Dominar 400, for the Indian two-wheeler market. As the new model has already started arriving at dealerships across the country, we can expect the launch to happen in the coming few days around Diwali. While looking at the bike, one can notice the updates to the bike are largely cosmetic, with the majority of them consisting of a touring package. The walkaround video we have mentioned here is uploaded by the Youtube channel named Dino’s Vault.

In terms of appearance, the new Dominar 400 gets a bigger windscreen at the front and the knuckle guards. The rubber mounts on the front number plate holder are of higher quality than previously, which should decrease vibrations. A smartphone mounting point is located behind the windscreen, which is also a popular addition that many current Dominar owners have chosen. A steel bash plate has also been installed to protect the underbelly when travelling on poor roads or off-road terrain. Also, the crash guard is more secure after the required changes.

Other notable features of the Bajaj Dominar 400 include a complete LED headlight with an automatic headlamp on (AHO), position lamp, low beam, and high beam settings. These enable the bike to efficiently handle a variety of riding situations. Bungee straps are also included, which improves the bike's touring possibilities. The bike features a comfortable, upright riding position and broad handlebars, making it ideal for touring.

Moreover, the reverse LCD instrument console, suspension, braking system, LED lighting are among the unchanged features of the bike. When it comes to mechanical updates, no change is evident and it continues to use the same 373.3cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which is capable of churning out 40 PS max power and 35 Nm max torque. A 6-speed gearbox handles transmission responsibilities, with a slipper and assist clutch included as standard.
