KTM is testing its new generation of 390 range, including the 390 Duke, 390 Adventure, and 390 Enduro. The most anticipated model in the range is the new RC 390, a fully-faired motorcycle with a powerful engine.
The 2024 model of the KTM RC 390 has been recently spotted and it is designed to be more aggressive than the previous generation, with a sleeker fairing and a single projector headlight. The rear subframe is also more exposed, but this is likely due to the fact that this is a test mule and not the final production model.
There have also been adjustments made to the USD front forks, the swingarm, and the instrument panel. The engine is rumoured to be a larger 399cc single-cylinder unit. It is expected to produce a max power of over 45 bhp and 40 Nm of peak torque. Production of the new RC 390 is expected to start in 2024, with a debut at the 2023 EICMA Show.
Here are some of the key features of the new RC 390:
- Aggressive design with a sleek fairing and single projector headlight
- Adjustable USD front forks
- New banana-shaped swingarm
- New instrument console
- Larger 399cc single-cylinder engine (45 bhp and 40 Nm)
- Quick shifter (up and down)
- Slipper clutch
- Dual channel ABS with cornering ABS
The new 2024 KTM RC 390 is certain to be a well-liked option for anyone seeking a strong and fashionable motorcycle. It is expected to cost between INR 3.40 lakh and INR 3.75 lakh.
