Adapting your lifestyle is all it’s about. I’ve started to use backpacks and learnt how to pack properly. The bobmyness of the Aerox is far more outweighed by the joy of simply riding.
On long weekend rides, how does the Aerox 155 fare against entry level sports bikes?

Surprisingly good! The CVT makes for no gear fatigue, and the Aerox is comfy for long rides. All day it can cruise at 80-90 kmph. Yes, it’s not going to keep up with sports bikes, but it’s so much more relaxing.

For short trips okay but not for a serious tour. For long distance comfort and stability, a proper bike just can't be beat, and it's small wheels and scooter ergonomics.

I love it for weekend rides! Less fatigue in traffic, and nimble on twisty roads, no clutch. Pack light and stop for fuel more often than your bike buddies do.

It's a compromise. Perfect for mixed city highway riding but will feel limited on open highways. You miss the top end of a sports bike and wind protection is minimal. Now it’s way more practical when you get to your destination.

I switched from a sport bike to an Aerox and actually prefer it for weekend trips. It’s more comfortable, easier to ride, and it’s still fun in the twisties. Don't expect to win any races, just don't.

Absolutely! The Aerox is the perfect stepping stone. It gives you a taste of performance without the fear of a full bike. A great confidence builder with more power and better handling.

I would say it's a little bit of a mixed bag. It’s good for learning throttle control and cornering, but you miss out on essential skills such as clutch control and gear management that you need for bikes.

It's a great starter for performance enthusiasts. It’s powerful enough to be exciting, but the CVT makes it less daunting. And, the sporty ergonomics put you in sport bike postures.

I personally feel that it is better to start with a regular bike. The automatic transmission of the Aerox may have you form bad habits, and it could be harder to switch to a manual bike laster.

I found it super helpful as a person who started on an Aerox before going to bikes. It was forgiving, and taught me about weight transfer in corners and handling more power. Great confidence builder!
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
Absolutely worth it! Basically, the Aerox is a sports bike in scooter form. The R15 level performance without the hassle of gears is what you get. Ideal for commuting through city traffic, or weekend jaunts.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
It's honestly overkill for most people. Yeah, it’s fun, but a normal 110cc scooter will do the job just fine for daily commutes and grocery runs for half the price.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?

It’s dependent on what you value. The Aerox is great if you want something unique and like spirited riding. If you’re just after practical transport, there are cheaper alternatives that make more sense.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?

There’s a premium for the build quality and the features it offers. You get better suspension, wider tires and more powerful brakes. It has nothing to do with the engine, it's the whole package.

If you mix some city and highway riding I'd say it's worth it. It’s far more versatile than a regular scooter thanks to the extra power and stability at higher speeds.
So, how is the Aerox 155 to commute in Bangalore’s notorious traffic and roads?
07 January 2025 10:28
It’s surprisingly good in traffic too! The Aerox is nimble enough to bust through gaps, and the CVT makes stop and go a breeze. Be wary of those killer potholes – the stiff suspension can be harsh.
So, how is the Aerox 155 to commute in Bangalore’s notorious traffic and roads?
07 January 2025 10:28
It’s honestly overkill for Bangalore traffic. It's less practical for carrying stuff and you rarely get to use all that power, because there's no flat floorboard. Sometimes a regular scooter might be better.
So, how is the Aerox 155 to commute in Bangalore’s notorious traffic and roads?
07 January 2025 10:28
It's great for Bangalore. The wider tires help you to feel more confident on sketchy roads, and the power helps you to easily get away from traffic lights. Heavy traffic takes a hit on fuel efficiency.
So, how is the Aerox 155 to commute in Bangalore’s notorious traffic and roads?

It's a mixed bag. It’s great for those rare occasions where the roads are clear, but the sporty riding position can become tiring in long traffic jams. And parking an expensive scooter can be stressful.
